Literacy Lambton and our amazing Big Buddy volunteers are on a mission to build budding readers and spark the joy of reading in our community.

Little Buddy readers are matched with Big Buddy volunteers for scheduled half-hour weekly sessions of reading fun and connection.

FREE program for children starting Grades one to six in September 2024.

Runs July through August

Offered in-person at the downtown Sarnia library branch (Christina St.) with limited opportunity at the new Clearwater library branch.

This program is not intended to teach children how to read. It provides opportunity for reading practice and to gain confidence reading.

Parents/guardians are to remain close by during the program, as it’s not a drop-off program and half-hour sessions are tightly scheduled.
